There are more games than just zelda coming to wii u like xenoblade chronicles x(next years going to be big for open world rpgs)

you also have yoshi for platforming(its adorable ok)

Splatoon is one of the new ips the nintendo garage is working on( Nintendo said it themselves that they are trying to make splatoon similar to mario kart( bringing the genre new life)

Im surprised you dont like smash bros because most people I know say they love it and might buy a wii u for that( this is rl not over internet)

If you want action devils turd(hopefully they fix that rap up) or bayonetta 2 could fill it

the only genres you are missing are really simulators of all sorts, and open world

so im assuming you dont like consoles that dont have open world games

and yeah forgot about mk8, 3d world, hyrule warriors, pikmin 3, etc.

You cant look at the broad picture of a console's library you have to research it's library

Like me I'm looking up games for ps4 that I am planning to get over the course of 2015(I was gonna buy one soon and I want final fantasy back in my life)

I fear the games you have mentioned and 7 / 8 with them are total Wii U game library for 2015. No offense. But PS4 edges nintendo when it comes to new IP in 2015. And the games you have mentioned there are "more" alternatives of those in PS4 both in quantity and quality. And after Wii version of mariokart / smash bros Wii U versions looks like HD remake.

There are so many failed3rd party developers out there. So many great, promising Devs screaming out for work. Step in, Nintendo, contract projects to them. The irony here is, that Nintendo will become a saviour to many of these. Many of them went out of business due to their abitious nature and lack of funds. They have much to offer. Just look at Bayonetta.

 I know ps4 has plenty of new ips(like order, blood, and Ill count wild and no mans sky even if they are indies, and yes I know more are going to get announced at the playstation experience in december or e3)

I think internet hype helps sell new IPs massively. Naughty dog especially is the internets golden child so anything they do is going to get free advertising everywhere. Nintendos new IPs just don't get that kind of treatment (Nntend doesn really help) so their reach is limited.

some of the best nintendo games came from spin offs.
smash bros, mario kart, yoshi island.

as long the new games are still good, they would be appealing too. why not?

As long as I get my Samus & Pikachu crossover I'm totally fine with more spin-offs.
