Well the figure silhouettes are quite interesting...

That Mario one, is just the one we originally saw the Mario figure, the Pikmin one most probably for Pikmin 3 and Smash, Tom Nook for Animal Crossing U, most probably to store your town info and/or receive discounts in his store, Link is most probably Zelda U Link with the green tunic, he also kinda looks like TP Link, Bowser should be for a future Paper Mario game, since it does looks like Paper Bowser, and the last is probably for Metroid U.

Yeah, it does look like TP Link, or in any case a Adult Link, so if the Amiibo is for Zelda U, then that Link should be around the age of TP Link.
