Maybe you are overestimating x1 games.  Since all year they according to xbox fans had the better games and yet PS4 still won sales wise, month after month after month get it.

50 cut is not convincing anyone to buy a X1 over PS4, its convincing eventual X1 buyers to buy it now.  Both will do very well but unless PS4 runs out of stock it will once agian win the sales war for another month.

The advantage X1 has right now is unprecedented on the games front. Sunset overdrive bundle is already a succes and the price cut it's not even effective. Plus the master chief collection is going to have a major impact, it's the game offer with the best value of the last 10 years and we all know americans love for halo. We'll see, but I predict that sony will lose if the they don't slash the price.
