So as you heard, Activision is giving away a free digital download of COD on Xbox One/ PS4 if you buy the 360/ps3 digital version of the game. I think this is a great deal, I also will jump back and forth because some people have not upgraded yet. Are you going to get this version, either because you will upgrade soon? Or you already upgraded and would like to take advantage of the great deal.

Would you buy digital if they do more deals like this? 

You have until March 2015 to download your free version if you do in fact buy this game digitally.

However I do have some questions. Do you get this  game a day early, with double XP, if you pre-order the digital version? like gamestop is doing.

Also can you do this from your Xbox 360 or do you have to do this from the Activision website. The FAQ page is not working properly for me for some reason, I am at a Florida hotel with free WiFi with my surface. So not sure the issue, everything else is working great, including vgchartz.

Nah, I pre-ordered the disc for PS4. Best Buy 20% off + $10 reward means the game is ~$40 and it's a disc you can trade.

I've contacted Activision about this and they told me you have to buy the 360 version to get the Xbone free and it doesn't work in reverse (you buy the Xbone copy and you get the 360 version). Also I've been lead to believe that you don't get the bonus MP map or the extra day of playing that you get if you buy the Day Zero edition. Both are turn offs for me but at the end of the day I'm still willing to wait an extra day and get both versions of the game.

No, as they ware different versions. If it was going from one XBOX ONE to another, the cloud carry's that over. However you get the Achievement/trophy's twice. So you will have to do everything twice.

I checked around, I don't see any unique requirements for this game.

However, CoD:Ghosts had a second disc which was a 3GB install to play the campaign. Wouldn't be surprised if this has an additional install as well.
