No, I think they go:

Ace Attourney
And Justice for All
Trials and Tribulations
Apollo Justice

I am at the end of Trials and Tribulations, but I still have Apollo Justice in the plastic.

I don't need your console war.
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor.
You're power hungry, spinnin' stories, and bein' graphics whores.
I don't need your console war.

NO NO, NO NO NO.

cheers for that - seems a bit strange that they're teaching me how to examine objects in the last case of Ace Attorney, do you get many more skills throughout the series?

Nope, and in the next games, you don't even get to do that(those features aren't even in the game again till Apollo's Justice)

You do get a new thing in the next game, but I won't spoil it.

Anyway, the reason the games are like that, is they were all made a long time ago on the Gameboy Advance.

They were just ported to the DS. The last chapter in the first game is the only new content in all the first 3 games. The have been more popular on the DS than ever on the GBA.

The new game, Apollo's Justice, is the first Ace Attorney game to not be a port, but an original for the DS, and was made literally years after the last game before it, Trials and Tribulations.
