I played 1, 2 and 3 and I like 2 the most. The atmosphere back then wa so intense and the game did a lot better than the first one which had a huge impact on me, too.

3 felt too different from its predecessors for me to really catch me. And I really wish Van Buren had happened instead or in between, from all I know about the plot it would surely have been on the top right now.

I found the first two to be fantastic, though I would have to give the edge to Fallout 1. Though the games are very similar, the first just had more of an impact on me. Fallout 2 may had many improvements over 1, and possessed the same atmospheric world, but much like the Super Mario Galaxy games, I found the first to be better simply because it was more impactful having come first.

I haven't played 3 or NV, but I have both on Steam. They sound like great games, and I hope to free up some time to play them.

i played through 1 and 2 when i was 13 or something.
sadly i couldn't finish part 2 because i saved before immediate death -.-

third part i started 3 times and never managed to finish it.

looking forward to a nextgen fallout. with oculus/PM.

must-have-list for platforms i don't own yet:

WiiU: Donkey Kong

XBone: Dead Rising 3, Ryse

2 is the best for me. But it may be because I played that one first.
The new ones are ok but I prefer the atmosphere of the old ones.

You just saved me the trouble of typing this myself...brilliant games, one of my all time favourites, even after all these years.

As for F3 and FNV...honestly, they can hardly be called Fallout...atmosphere of originals is just not there, but nevertheless, they are still very good games.

New Vegas, probably. Loved it from beginning to end, if, at times, it was kinda rocky (especially with how poorly optimized it was). I've also clocked like 400 hours on it.

But all fallouts are brilliant in my eyes. Played 1, 2, 3 , NV and Tactics, though I've only beaten 1, 3 and NW.

Fallout 3, New Vegas had a less serious story, less interesting characters and no Bobbleheads and less humor in it. Still a good game which was less buggy and looks better than fallout 3. But 3 easily takes the cake hell you can have a supermutant and a ghoul as ally for a while. Oh and Megaton (SPOILER ALERT) is a big plus or boom about fallout 3, oh come on everyone has either blown up this town or lies about not doing it (but secretly did it anyway, multiple times probably)

Please excuse my (probally) poor grammar

Fallout 3, for sure.

Fallout 1 probably, 3 and NV never caught my attention for some reason and 2 was too goofy. The atmosphere and the soundtrack for 1 was amazing
