Forums - Sales - Prediction: Xbox One Will Outsell Wii U by 500k+ in October as well!

Don't agree, XB1 will just about sell 500k by itself.

Probably a 300k lead.

250k ish in october

much more in Novemeber

and more again in December

By Jan 1st, the lifetime lead is substantial.

But isn't Smash Bros coming out in November. Are people assuming zero Wii Us will be sold during that time?

"Week 3 (projected) - 100,000 - Xbox One"

So, you think that with Bayonetta the gap will increase?

not sure why you took that from my post?

You said the lead would be higher in November. I'm simply asking why that would be.

Because Hyrule gave such a big boost in the west!!

You think Bayonetta will decrease the gap?

next week, Wii U will sell for sure more than 45,000.

XBOX ONE will sell for sure more than 120,000.

This week the gap is 80,000.

Now, how is possible that next week XBOX ONE will sell 100,000 than Wii U!?

These numbers are with Smash in mind. Maybe you're overestimating it?

Because it will be, its obvious.  Cod, Halo, SO... plus general ramping up for Holidays.

The ONE will obliterate the WiiU in November.

Has Halo ever outsell a Smash Bros game - well, at least enough for a Microsoft console to "obliterate" a Nintendo console?

Well....

Halo has more hardcore fans than casual fans. However, Smash Bros has way more casual fans than hardcore fans. Because Smash Bros caters to both audiences while Halo really only caters to one, it's probably safe to say that Smash Bros will push more systems than Halo would.

I'm just going by historical data.
