I feel really bad about saying this, but there is no chance she is still alive. The reason being was because she was the most famous person in 2007 with the whole world looking for her and her kidnapper. If everyone in the world wanted you dead cos you kidnapped a child then you are gonna get rid of her one way or another. Whether it is leaving her in the middle of nowhere or killing her (lets hope not for the latter) you don't want her with you.

It's a terrible mess and I do feel sorry for the parents who have lost a child at the worst time, but I'm just being realistic here.

Me to, every time the police interview them or their friends the story changes slighty or new details emerge. At minimum the should be charged with parental negligence.

I agree about sharing someone elses pain, especially someone you dont know.

It was the same effect when Diana died and this shared grief for someone most people had never even met swept the nation.

It's just as sad that EVERY day of the year children die of starvation, die of curable diseases and live on the streets of many countries.

But i guess we are so used to this we see it as normal for these countries.

ONE british kid gets kidnapped and a few celebs offer 2.5 million pounds reward.... MILLIONS of african/russian/south american kids starve, die of illness and get murdered every year and comic relief raises 60 million pounds out of a population of 60 million!

Trrible things happen to many families around the world through no fault at all of their own and a lot of them do not have money or good jobs and maybe they dont leave 3 under 3s alone whilst they go out.

What I can't stand is the hypocrisy of the media, if a celeb or a family was found by them to be leaving kids that age on their own the headlines would be somewhere along the lines of 'irresponsible parents'


 Well I have to agree with him . I am sorry for them but lets be honest why should I care when in every 20 seconds or so a kid starves to death , and every year millions of <10 years old are getting raped ant mutilated/torchured etc.
