Dream on. They would never do this. They're not used to doing the right thing.

Wii U would be perfect for any DS/3DS games. Probably too perfect to consider it. Which makes me believe that Nintendo wants Wii U to fail and that they only love their handhelds.

You have absolutely no idea why the dual screen concept works on a handheld, but not a home console.

Because your eyes can be focused on two screens at once on a handheld?

No, the reason the 3DS has had mild success is because of the exclusives.

But if those exclusives have been out for years now, how does it hurt the 3DS?

OT: I'd  be for it, so long as the work is given to teams that aren't responsible for big games. I'd REALLY be all for it if they were to come in a cross-buy capacity.

The GameCube had a GBA player. It allowed you to play GBA and GB games on your TV. It didn't make the GameCube a instant 80 million unit seller and it didn't slow down the momentum of the GBA. It was the DS that pretty much killed the GBA.

I'd be quite pleased with a 3DS player for the Wii U. Plug in adapter that lets you play your 3DS games on a big screen? I'd love it.

With that said, as a 3DS or Vita owner, would you be upset by this move? Would you feel duped?

It would be ok on 2 conditions, improve the game in some way add local play, improve the graphics, something else, the second one is that it should not happen very often and they should focus on games that are missing on the respective console, for example Bravely Default or Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate for the Wii U.

id love!
as long as we have crossbuy!

I wouldn't mind as long as they continue to support the handhelds. I'm mainly a home console guy so of course i'd prefer the games I like on home console, but I can imagine students (I use to be one) or those that do lots of travelling and aren't home as much that they'd love to enjoy some awesome games on the go.

I am not interested in Nintendo games. But I was interested about three vita games. Uncharted GA, Teraway & P4G. Teraway is coming. Uncharted GA will also come. And I will be happy with these two.

Never liked handheld gaming. But its nice to see good games from handheld segment coming to home consoles.

Then why add the worst Uncharted ever and a boring "pseudo artistic" game? P4G tho is awesome.

I bought a Vita solely for Tearaway and it was a very boring game. Bad music (sans 1 or 2 songs) boring gameplay. Stupid camera that moves while you jump so the controls change mid air etc. Its pseudo artistic "art style" was tyring after a while. (again sans 1 or 2 locations)  worst game I played for a long time and I usually love all types of games no matter the art style (Journey, DragonsDogma, WindWaker, Borderlands, Yoshi's Island,) as long as its not a generic brown/grey shooter with no color.

But back to OPs question. Yes i would like to see handheld games on consoles. But i would prefer them years later in some kind of 3DS collection or something. I dont like buying a game to just get a reworked better version with new content come out half a year later on some other system. (even console A to console B or to PC ports)

There are already plenty of Vita games on PS3/PS4 (and vice versa).

Thanks to Sony's cross-buy feature, you just need to buy one version and get the others for free.

Don't see why Nintendo wouldn't be able to do the same.

As great as I find the cross buy and cross play etc. Many on here cite the fact that many Vita games are also on home consoles as reasons they don't want a Vita. So I'd wager most 3DS owners don't want improved versions of 3DS games on Wii U.

Here I was looking forward to Tearaway Unfolded and you go and say it sucks

*Note: I've never played Tearaway but it looks cool
