I would LOVE to see an Obama-Russ Feingold ticket. But, sadly, it's never going to happen. :(

One thing a lot of people miss is that Obhama has to maintain as balanced of a ticket as he possibly can. If Obhama pairs himself with someone who is as liberal as he is, he will put himself in a position where he has given up the middle ground and left the moderate (and independant) voters open for McCain; at this point I would expect McCain to partner himself with someone much more conservative than himself in order to capture the conservatives and fight for the moderate (and independant) voters in this situation.

Iran isn't a threat to the US? Seriously? Have you listened to Iran's leader? Have you ignored the fact that even the UN realizes their nuclear program is up to no good. Have you noticed he's crazy enough to use nuclear weapons even if it means mass suicide?

Also, how is pulling out of Iraq and letting mass civil war and chaos reign free in Iraq a good idea? Sure it's good for us... Don't you think we kinda owe them for fucking up their country even worse though?  If they wanted us to leave we'd be gone.  

They don't have nukes,, in fact the recent intelligence report says that they show no signs of being anywhere near having nukes Pakistan on the other hand does, and has state sposored terrorism, and we have evidence that they have been harboring Osama, and it was Pakistanis, not Iranians or Iraqis on the 9/11 planes

Iraq should have never existed in the first place, as it was cobbled together by the british, if Bush was smart he'd take the partition route and then we could leave without fear of civil war, we can't hold the country together forever, we have our own problems to deal with, it may be callous, but its the reality of the situation that its in our best interest to leave

Not currently. They are well on there way though. Even the UN is planning sanctions. We have our own problems but we caused their problems. We owe them. To do otherwise is to show no personal responsibility as a country.

Foreign countries will respect us even less if we pull out and leave their country to tear themselves apart. No one could take us seriously anymore and just expect us to go in, fuck everything up change administrations and say "fuck you guys we're out. That was the other party, it's not our fault anymore."

That's the difference. Mccain was a huge critic of Iraq as we were screwing it up. However he thinks when you fuck up something it's your job to fix it no matter what it costs you. I don't understand how someone can disagree with that.

They are years away from having nukes, at least half a decade if not more, and they have shown no signs of starting up thier program again. That is the difference, they are not a threat and we should not be worried about them

So? We caused their problems, so sorry, but that's not our problem anymore they are not going to turn into some functioning country any time soon if ever and we don't have the luxury pf waiting for that day.

They don't respect us now, and they will respect us more if they see that we are not the country that interferes where we shouldn't, invading Iran, and maintaining a permanent prescense in iraq will not win us any respect.

 It is insanity to try the same thing over and over and expect a different result, sorry, but this Iraq conflict is a failure, the smart thing to do is to know when you've failed and to cut your losses
