Pokémon was predictable and the rest is almost Japan only. Youkai Watch is a non-factor here in the Occident, Project STEAM is going to flop. I doubt Bravely Second will do much. Pokémon Z is definitely coming but I don't know how big of a boost it can give the 3DS. The only game looking good is the possible MM remake, which isn't even confirmed. I won't doubt Nintendo, but it's not looking good.

Pokemon is predictable but you said in your last post "no big games for nexy year" :0

YW will not obviously be as big but that doesn't mean it wont be successful in the West. It can do potentially 500k give or take. I bet Tomodachi Life nobody predicted would of had a MAJOR Success in the west especially when FW sales all around were low.

~You doubt a game (Bravely Second) that sold over a million and growing (potentionaly doing 1.5mil-2mil lifetime) wont do much? Really?

~You wont doubt nintendo, but you are. Your a fan of them, you should know games can be announced out of nowhere and release, doesn't matter big or small. (NSMB2 was announced in June and released the next month in Japan for example)

~Code Steam bomb? Yes it definitely could but its not written in stone.

~So many games can be announced for 2015, no point in doing so intill later

C'mon bro

Are there any predictable games for next year? Also, I was not stricly talking about the games' performances, yet what they can do to bolster 3DS sales. The games you mentioned, I doubt they'll do well enough to give 3DS a proper boost. Nintendo needs something out of the box. Releasing the same type of games can only do so much for their consoles.

I will try to remain positive because it's a system I want to actively support, but it's the GP that Nintendo needs to impress.

Edit: Although NSMB2 had potential, it's pretty bad. I totally wish they ported Pikmin.

Totally disagree with this part, it's absolutely written in stone.

I would love to kno why :)

No real reason other than the fact that it simply doesn't look like something that can appeal to a wide audience.

that  =  automatically bomb? :'-(

Nintendo has a 2D and a 3D Metroid game in the works, one of them is probably for 3DS.

Final Fantasy Explorers could come West, new Ace Attorney games in the works, Fossil Fighters is coming West. Miku is coming though that's not a big seller in the West.

Nintendo likes to keep their cards close to their chest. Even a huge game like Link Between Worlds can be revealed just six months before its release. Who knows what's going on at Intelligent Systems, HAL Labs, Next Level Games, etc.

And I just remembered there is a Pokemon spin-off scheduled for 2015.

For the people that want know my 3DS prediction:

Month
October 800,000
November 2,000,000
December 4,000,000

11,300,000 this year is my bet.

Well, maybe saying it was a bomb written in stone was too much, but I meant as in it wont be a big hit. I think it'll be a modest success (1-1.5m) at best, and while that wouldn't be a "bomb", it wouldn't be a huge thing either. It could definitely bomb though.

Nothing wrong with a modest success, Fire Emblem and Kid Icarus sold in that range and those are very popular 3DS games. I'll be pretty surprised if STEAM manages to sell a million, but it could.

I think you lowballed it with October a bit. Last October it sold over 1.6 million; this year it will probably be down in NA and Europe, but up in Japan thanks to MH4G and the N3DS. Not up enough to match last year's sales, but I don't quite expect a 50% drop.

On the other hand, I think your predictions for November and December are a bit high. It's possible November could match last year thanks to Pokemon, but you have December higher than last year, which I find unlikely. In the end, I think it will be cutting it pretty close to 10 million for the year.

2014. No big titles for next year. Seriously, what is Nintendo doing next? N3DS won't help much, it's already out in Japan.

"No big titles for next year. " Same thing was said early this year, then we had announcements of  MH4G/Pokemon ORAS/etc :0

I think you should wait intill march/april to make that claim. This year 3ds will be between 7mil-8.5mil, 2015 aint going to just sharply decline.

Next Year..... ★= Confirmed Game ☆=A Likely Game To Come Out.

2015

★Xenoblade Chronicles (N3DS Exclusive) [All regions]

☆ Pokemon Z (X2Y2) [All regions]

☆ YW3 [Japan]

★ YW1 and/or YW2 [West]

★ Project S.T.E.A.M  [All regions]

★ Monster Hunter 4G [West] (This will help N3DS sales without having a WiiU version)

☆ LoZ MM 3D ?

★Bravely Second [West]

Any Zelda fan or Pokemon fan will most likely have a 3DS at the end of this year (they will provide boosts but not like past installments on the system).  Monster Hunter is big but more of a Japan boost.  I still see it declining despite that software lineup.  Xenoblade isn't a huge system seller I don't think.  The new model and a price drop will help it remain flat or a little up but that software won't be enough

Get Your Portable ID!Lord of Ratchet and Clank

Duke of Playstation Plus

Warden of Platformers

9 to 10 M in 2014
i dont think 2015 will match these sales, even with N3DS.
Id bet 7 to 8M in 2015.

will n3ds be out before 2015 in the west?
