...has it made you interested in playing the Dynasty Warriors series in general?

I'm really enjoying HW, to the extent where it's making me consider picking up the next DW when it comes out. I've never played any Musuo games before, and Hyrule Warriors has opened this new genre up to me. Anyone else thinking of giving the next DW a go?

Maybe I'll get Warriors Orochi 3 if I find a deal on it

I predict NX launches in 2017 - not 2016

kinda, its better than expected, but it hasn't completely converted me to a fan of the musou series

Yes, i must admit that i wasn't hyped for HW, but its one of my fave games of 2014. The crossover just works for some reason, and the warriors gameplay has as much part to play as the Zelda elements, so im willing to try more musou games. It seems Hyrule Warriors is selling quite decently, so i can see future warriors games coming to Wii U on the back of this.

Good. All you guys go buy Ken's Rage 2 so I can get a Ken's Rage 3!

I've given DW8 a quick go but it didn't grab me like HW. Movement was slow and it is a different game. I haven't played enough to say it's an inferior game. I can say that, at least at the start of the game, it is far less gripping. The higher review scored for HW might have been for reasons other than the Zelda theme.

I forgot we already had some similar games on the Wii U. I may pick one of them up if I spot it for cheap before declaring my love for musuo.

Is Ken's Rage any good?

I already enjoyed the genre since 2011 with Samurai Warriors for 3DS.

NO! -_-

Hyrule Warriors doesent even come close to touching Dynasty Warriros 8 Xtreme Legends Complete Edition (needs more words). Their is however a 6 point difference in favour of Zelda on Metacritic even though it has much, much less content, a less intresting story, worse combat, shitty ass bosses etc.

At least Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate on PS4 reviewed better than HyWa, although Ive never played that one so I cant comment on how it is.

I'm definitely interested in the Warriors franchise because of this... although, from what I've heard, some of the features I love most about Hyrule Warriors are new with this game, rather than being common across the franchise. So if they incorporate some of the base ideas into the main franchise, I'll definitely be picking them up.

I'd also love for them to work Link, Impa, or Lana into the next Nintendo-console Warriors title, as a cameo.
