"Sony will announce a new handheld (somewhere early/mid 2015)" What....?
"Half Life 3 will be announced, will be exclusive to Steam Console." STILL PRAYING!!!
- X1 will win US for the year thanks mainly to a killer Q3-Q4 exclusive lineup that will include Halo 5, Crackdown 3, Forza 6, Fable Legends, Gears of War Collection, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Scalebound, and Quantum Break
- Half-Life 3 and The Last Guardian are both finally announced to be dead. Both studios announce new IPs.
- Wii U still takes last place, but sales will increase this Holiday and be more stable all next year due to a much more constant stream of big first party games. Momentum for the system will be strong heading into 2016.
- Microsoft elaborates on Minecraft plans, announcing 2-3 spinoff games for the franchise along with Minecraft 2
- Maybe one or two new looks at FFXV like we got this year, along with the demo. Release date still nowhere in site by year's end.
- Elder Scrolls 6 announced at E3 for release in 2016. People shocked to learn world size will be slightly smaller than Skyrim, so as to use next gen hardware to take the performance aspects to a whole new level for the franchise. This includes graphics that will truly live up to the "next gen" monikor and blow people away.
- God of War "reboot" announced for PS4, with whole new characters and new mythology (gonna guess Norse). Story will end up tying into the original series, but that will be kept a tightly guarded secret until release.
- The Order is a massive critical failure scoring below 60 on Meta, and isn't a sales "flop" but doesn't meet expectaions.
- Uncharted 4 delayed to late 2016 as the GOW reboot acts as the premier Sony Holiday 2015 exclusive instead.
- Sony rests on the PS4 momentum too much, finally leading to the system losing a lot of its momentum during Q4 when Wii U and X1 both present much stronger Holiday lineups
- Star Fox and Zelda both are not delayed and hit Holiday release.
- Super Mario Galaxy 3D sequel announced for New 3DS exclusively, released Q4.
- Majora's Mask HD announced for Wii U for release in 2016
- New Nintendo IP announced at E3. Metroid still MIA by year's end.
- Xenoblade chronicles is released. Receives mixed reviews and it's a massive comercial failure.
- New 3DS fails hard. Iwata finally steps down as Nintendo CEO.
- Deep Down is released and it's not well received.
- Capcom quickly announces Monster Hunter 5 to keep investors calm.
- Bloodborn is praised and loved but gets modest sales.
- MGS5 considered the best game in the series.
- Fallout 4 launches on october 2015.
- Rockstar games announce a new Red Dead Game.
- Quantic Dream announces a new project.
- Halo 5 is a comercial success but it's considered inferior to H4.
- Respawn breaks up with EA and announces new IP.
- Microsoft again cut Xbone price.
- Rise of Tomb Raider Bombs.
- FFVX bombs in Japan and SE cancels KH3.
- Valve announces Portal 3.
- UC4 is considered superior to UC3 but still not as good as UC2 and TLoU, but manages to sell 5M until 12/31/2015.
: Wii U will have 1 game a month.
It's peak year.
N3DS will boost sales of 3DS by a lot. Maybe even extra 10M by end of year.
Amiibo will actually be successful - but slightly higher than Skylanders;/infinity.
Stuff happens.
It's nice and interesting but your first and last prediction go against all logic. Those are things I would bet a permaban on.

Just because there is a tiny percentage of happening doesnt mean is unlogical
first steam consoles were delayed (which may seem as an indicator of valve preparing something), second for them to make success they need to have something that others don't.
second there is a lot of market for a handheld by sony, they can pretty much release a handheld with Android like they did with Xperia Play or somthing like PSP go, unlikely? may be, but a portable gaming device with Android would make sense

These consoles aren't delayed because Valve is preparing a new Half Life game. By the way, they already said (if I remember correctly) that they wouldn't make new titles made by them exclusive to the Steam console anyway. It's illogical to still go and try to predict that Half-Life 3 will be released next year for the Steam console. And even if they would, I'm sure people wil get angry because they refuse to buy a Steam console but still have HL3.
Just Nintendo predictions for now.
