Er, next year meaning 2015? Because it's unlikely we'll hear anything about additional DLC for Smash until after Mewtwo is released in the spring.

You can't build an audience for these edgier types of games if you're going to "reset" every generation with them.

Well it's possible that Nintendo announces some kind of season pass before Mewtwo is released.

Yeeeeeeeaaaaaaahhhh, maaaaaybe. Possible, yes, but not certain. If no 'season pass' is discussed before Mewtwo's release, that doesn't rule out the possibility of future DLC.
