Forums - Nintendo - E3 Prediction: Retro Zelda to be Zelda Future

Future Zelda would annoy me. It'd be like giving Mario a gun - just wrong for the franchise.

Did anyone see the "other" predictions at the bottom? Think they're ridiculous?

No ...in Japan.

Make those three January/February/March for NA and April/May/July for Europe.

What will Nintendo bring out this holiday season (in NA), then?  Wii Music, certainly...maybe a Star Fox...help me out here.

We have heard of Kirby Wii, Wii Music and Animal Crossing Wii for sure.

I don't believe more than one new game for this year over that will be announced at E3. I'm hoping for Kid Icarus.

Announced at E3 for '09, I think a 'real' Paper Mario, Pikmin 3 and Metroid Dread are good bets.

Or like, say, giving Mario a talking water pack?

...yeah, maybe that wouldn't be a good idea.

"'Casual games' are something the 'Game Industry' invented to explain away the Wii success instead of actually listening or looking at what Nintendo did. There is no 'casual strategy' from Nintendo. 'Accessible strategy', yes, but ‘casual gamers’ is just the 'Game Industry''s polite way of saying what they feel: 'retarded gamers'."

I don't need more good games this year.
Now every zelda game must have these things a sword and a shield, a boomerang, a guy in a green tunic, some terrefying evil, a place where it is water, some fairy and the triforce.

Think twice before helping a friend in need.

The Legend of Spaghetizelda. Let's take Zelda and make her the head chef of the finest restaurant in Hyrule. Your job is to play as the garbageman named Link who seemingly has no wit about him and yells a lot of HIYA"S at everything he does. One day this young Link garbageman comes across the master ladle, which tells him that he is meant to be the best chef in the world....

You can go from there...

Prepare for termination! It is the only logical thing to do, for I am only loyal to Megatron.

When I saw this topic I instantly thought of that old April fools video.

maybe this is a weak point but how can it be the Legend of Zelda if it takes place in the future? Anyway i'm really not sure how i feel. I would be nervous to see how it turns out to say the least
