Season 2 begins today, eh? With my boy T.J. Combo finally part of the roster, it's finally time for me to dedicate myself fully to this game.
I played a few hours of this earlier today.
The new UI is kind of crappy and confusing, but I'm glad unlockables are easier to achieve.
T.J. Combo feels clunky and great at the same time, I need more practice with him.
Can't wait to see the new characters.

Glad you're liking it. I agree that the UI looks like shit. Doesn't matter, the gameplay is still intact. Lets hope Iron Galaxy helps more than hurting this game. It is my primary connection to the Xbox One. Without it...lol.

Season 2 at this rate is just an update. No reason for reviews. KI is mostly just an unfinished but superb fighter that was rushed and is getting its parts developed in bits and pieces and added over time. If you watch reviews the game was just for what it was at launch and also scored as an unfinished product. It was most likely rushed because MS noticed Sony was launching the PS4 in 2013 and after the reveal and just decided to use the cloud to launch the game in bits and pieces.

Killer Instinct was one of the games I bought at lauch of the Xbox One console. The game just looks, feels and plays so much better to me then it did at a launch. I am really enjoying this game now. They just need to add a real story mode which I hope they do.
