Forums - Sony Discussion - The Official PlayStation 3 Exclusives list...

I think tri-Ace/SE are sacrificing the new IP Infinite Undiscovery to the 360 masses, while keeping the popular Star Ocean series on a console that sells at least moderately well in Japan. And that is the ps3. :P

MS got one from them, but that's all they'll get.

I was planning on making a thread like this, just never seemed to have the time. :)

There are actually quite a few vaporware titles for the PS3 that havent been canned yet, and also quite a few titles definetly still in development:

(All exclusives)

Airtight PS3 Project [Unnamed]
Angel Rings [Working Title]
Aqua*
Big Time Revenge
Brave Arms
Chain Limit
Coded Arms Assault
DC Universe MMO
Dreamers
Metro 2033: The Last Refuge
Project Psychic
Redwood Falls
Rengoku The End of the Century
Returning Alive
Rockstar Old West PS3 Project
Zipper Interactive PS3 Project

I'm not saying you should include any of them, I'm just adding them to the thread for the sake of interest.

*You could possilby add PSN titles to your list, which would include titles like Aqua and Flower (From the developers of flOw).

Redwood Falls is almost certainly vaporware.

Titles like 'Metro 2033: The Last Refuge', 'Chain Limit' and 'Brave Arms' actually have screen shots, but nothing has been heard about these games for over a year.

I think it's pretty much guaranteed taht Coded Arms Assault has been canceled:

As for the others, I'll definitely look into them. Thanks for the list. :)

I wish they would either cancel the vaporware titles or give some new info on them.

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.  The only thing that really worried me was the ether.  There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke

It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...."  Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S. I really want to see some new info on Motorstorm 2 and Eight days in particular.

@Windbane: GT4P was released in Dec. 2003 and GT4 was supposed to release just months later. The game didn't end up coming out until Dec. 28 2004, and 2005 for NA and the EU. There's heavy rumors that GT5 has been delayed to 2009 for the EU already, and I don't think it's likely that it will make it out in even Japan until the beginning of 2009.

But then again, GT4P was hardly representative of GT4 (it was essentially GT3 with slight modifications and the GT4 HUD), while GT5P seems much farther along, so we may see GT5 out this year yet.

We'll probably find out more over the next few months, and I'll change things as new info surfaces.

I mean, hey, it's better to be pessimistic now and mildly surprised later, rather than be optimistic now and extremely disappointed later.

@Akuma: A MotorStorm 2 video should be released this Wednesday.
