So as an Australian Im lucky enough to be getting the New 3DS this holidays, however there is little incentive to buy it at launch. The games I want it for such as Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate and Xenoblade dont release until next year. I will just be playing Pokemon on it which doesnt add anything that I know of for New 3DS users so I could just as easily use my current XL. I was thinking that maybe I should save a little more and buy myself an Xbox One instead these holidays, unfortunately I have issues here too and so Im really undecided.

While the Xbox One intrests me Im doubtful of the use I will get out of it in the futute. Their are some games Im looking forward too but as a PS4 owner who subs to PS+ im never going to buy a multiplat on XBO. To make things worse MS 1st party studios to me, well their isnt much on offer from their usual output that intrests me.

Anyway here are the games that I would buy if I were to get an XBO

- Sunset Overdrive
- Rise of the Tomb Raider... and then again on PS4 =P
- Scalebound
- Phantom Dust(?) Still not sure about this one but it seems cool.

Well I ran out of games much quicker than I expected =(

Umm, theres a chance I buy Destiny again to play with my bro but that would require a gold subscription.
Theres also a slim chance I buy Halo and give it a chance but again GOLD.
Forza seems cool but Im a GT man, maybe Horizon??
I may import a few shmups from Japan but the king of shmups is coming to PS4 anyway.

If MS invested in Japan like they did with the 360 this would have been a much easier choice *sigh*

Any other games you guys can think of??

On the other hand the New 3DS has potential new games from Nintendo and while I only like a small portion of Nintendo its that small portion that has me buy all of their new consoles. Not only that it can play all 3DS games... well so can my other 2 3DS'

Tbh. It looks like you don't have enough incentive to buy either of them at this point?
Wouldn't buy the new 3ds untill you actually can have something to play on it (pokemon with less lag? woooo.. not)

And it looks like you arn't sold on the Xbox One either, hold off and use the money when you are sure of what you want to play on eiter one.

^^ I agree. It doesn't seem like you would be particularly excited about owning either at this point. Seeing as prices are only going to go down and the amount of attractive software is only going to go up, I think you would be better off waiting

There is also MCC coming who cares 3DS while superior Halo Trilogy,ForzaH2 and good games

Yeah love that he ignores how I clearly love 3DS (own 2) and then says I should buy XBO for Halo, a series I could never get into -_-

Yeah.. well.. imo. buy neither at this point. keep the money in a 'could spend if i want something' account and if that moment comes you have the funds for it.

or if something important happens you have some money stashed away for it :)
