Well the glory days are mostly nostalgia. Turning those classic IPs into something modern audiences will enjoy is easier said than done. Sony has a treasure trove of IPs as well similar to Rare. But they've struggled to make them appeal to modern audiences.

Making KI was a good idea because its unique and the resurgence of fighting games over the years. Unfortuately, we haven't seen a resurgence of platformers.

MS already has better shooters than Rare ever created. So if they wanna bring back Perfect Dark they need to do something really unique. Maybe something like Deus Ex and Tomb Raider.

Rare has done one awful game since MS bought it... That house of ghouls stuff... The rest was from average to brilliant... Kameo is one of the best 3d platformer of the HD consoles... Viva pinata is the best family oriented strategy game ever... Kinect sport is the best Kinect party game ever and one of the best overall, the fact that you don't like Kinect doesn't mean shitzel if you even have tried any game on it.... BK was odd and not really what people expected but it's still decent and way above the average game even in its category... But then again you probably haven't tried it....
Rare is a fantastic lucrative studio and above most other studio.... But yeah we know MS owns them so it sucks.. Grow kids...

No, just no. Rare should put out a new Conker, Jet Force Gemini, or hell Blast Corps would be AMAZING on today's consoles... think of all the destruction and mayhem in glorious HD!

Battle Toads could be redone only as a 2D XBLA title... 3D would never work for the game.
