Polygon's review reflects my feelings well.

I'm still debating when/how/if to get this game... The demo was a reasonably fun distraction, minus the gratuity and leering. And I really want to support Nintendo (and any other company) for supporting new and different Japanese IP rather than just the old stable.

But I'm glad that it's turned out to be a fun product.

Yeah if Bayo 2 makes in onto that first page of gameranking's best reviewed of all time, it might only outsell Ninja Gaiden Black and Persona 4 Golden out of all those titles. Such a shame. I still think if it is the GOTY sweeper that will help sales though, at least within the existing install base of Wii U.

I made a thread a couple months ago predicting that Dark Souls 2 would stay the highest rated new game of 2014, so Bayonetta 2 has to go down to at least 90 for me to stay right for now.

I'm not sure how I'll count it if it stays at 91 where it's now.

Ummm... Far Cry 4 or SSBU bro still coming this year :0

I think those are the last 90+ contenders. I dont include Indies cuz they should be in their own group imo, but 92 for SK

I find such generalizations bad and unncessary.

Also, let's not forget all the people who bashed GS for years for giving Ninty games low scores (starting with a Zelda game) calling GS trash and all kinds of names, only to make a big deal of of the site now that they gave a Ninty game a perfect 10. You can't have it both ways. You either  consider it unreliable or you don't.
