"Globally in the US", it will!
Worldwide... I doubt it, because of Europe.

Europe? More like because of Earth.

US/UK is close and may actually favor Xbox One in November (or not, but only time will tell us). As far as China, PS4 will not be available there before end of year. And I'm sure other countries are close like US/UK. Even Japan is not going to play a big impact in the global number. The real differentiator is Europe.

When MMC comes out and Microsoft starts their PR campaign for black friday period, chances that US goes back to MS are real. Same goes for the UK and the PS4 will NOT be available in China in november too.

So yah, if Microsoft not win a week in november it is definitely because of "Europe".

Why does Japan not matter but China does? Japan is a bigger market...

Also, you're forgetting about a whole lot of countries. Playstation is significantly more popular almost everywhere but the US and UK, or it was so last generation. Now it is significantly more popular everywhere (where both are available), except maybe Brazil for obvious reasons (insanely overpriced)

You guys assume too much based on VGChartz numbers.

They are only a guess, and probally wrong most of the time.

But I´m looking foward for week with "statistical ties" all over again. It will be much fun from any side of the discusion.

Because people realy belive VGChartz can track every single console sold WW to the unit precision each week.

True we know PS4 is far more then doubles X1 sales, likely nearing closer to triple then anything else.

I don't see it happening. Heck, even right now it's probably being overtracked (while PS4 is undertracked) so the numbers will be even more skewed towards PS4 once we get actual numbers.

Even in Halo week, the PS4 should still easily beat it.

Who believes that? We all know VGC isn't very accurate most of the time but what do you suggest we discuss? What do you think is wrong?

And yeah, we know PS4 reached 11m far earlier than VGC is saying which doesn't exactly help the message you're trying to convey here

It has been proven time and time again that the PS4 is understracked by a lot by VGchartz.  Glad you agree.

Thanks for basically repeating what I was saying, at least you totally agree with me.

Oh and we are talking about november... Actually not even... We are talking about beating PS4 one week.
The only thing that will not make this happen in november is Europe as MMC will boost Xbox One sales in general but Europe will still win by a huge margin anyway.

Also, if you believe that Microsoft sold 174k console INCLUDING 100k in 24 hours in China this week... Then you are assume a bit too much that VGchartz numbers are rights. I would not be suprised if after adjustments we see the Xbox One ahead for last week. So arguing about if and when the Xbox One will sell more than the PS4 (for a week is almost pointless).

Remember when MS fans thought the PS3 Slim had no chance in cutting the 8 - 9 Million lead the 360 held? PS fans with all the bragging rights will be much worse LOL.

While I agree that anything can still happen given how early in the gen we are, these are not even remotely comparable for variety of reasons.

These numbers are so close that is entirely possible that the Xbox One still won the week as many have pointed out. I suppose we will find out for sure in due time considering that numbers are always adjusted. I am curious how accurate any tracking in China is going to be. I imagine the only numbers from that region to rely on would be if Microsoft releases any. Of course, they have been awful quiet about numbers so far this gen so who knows.
