That seems kinda low for Smash, even if its two days' worth. FH2 did very average too. I think DriveClub will outsell despite less critical acclaim.

But regarding Horizon 2, very nice FW (well, first 5 days) numbers.
I was expecting the X1 version to perform less than what the original sold FW in the USA, but I'm surprised.
Looking at the rock-solid reviews for FH 2, I'm hoping it will have some great legs moving forward, especially in Europe.
FH2 has no shot in Europe. But in the UK it should do okay.
X1 should drop dramatically next week. Then start ramping up towards the end of the month and stay decent through the holidays in the US/UK

If anything it'll swing more in the PS4s favor, like always. We probably won't get any good nubmers for China, ever, since MS will only release shipped figures.

Huh?
Why wouldn't it do well?
Forza 5 did 162k FW here in the states and 121k FW in Europe.
FH2 did 175k FW here in the states....so following that trend, it should do around 100k+ in Europe, right? That's a pretty decent number.
Not to even mention that the original FH did less FW in both territories and still managed to sell 1.8M physical copies. I'd say FH2, with its great review scores, has a pretty good chance of matching or surpassing the first Horizon's numbers.

Doesn't Horizion tend to do less than mainline Forza's (WW that is)?

Forza 5 was bundled for free at launch in EU.

The install base in the US for 360 means that the 360 version should have legs, and to a lesser but stable extent, the X1 version.
In Europe, the falloff will be the typical :
1W 100% (of 1W numbers)
2W 15%
3W 7%
4W 4%
etc into oblivion
Whereas the US/UK should fall less steeply, and stay viable longer.

But the first Horizon wasn't, right?
I dunno. I'm still maintaing that FH2 will sell as well as FH in the long run.
