Number 2 is a copy-paste of the definition of try-hard, but it will not be moderated, unlike number 1. What good is it that humanity came up with descriptive terms when VGC forces its users to write out the full definitions?

If it forces our users to be more thoughtful in how they target and try to define a user, then I'm okay with that.
In the end, the matter is so subjective that it would become a mess. I could be a fanboy in someone's eyes just for supporting ______ console. I could be a troll in someone's eyes for agreeing with a more negative review. I could be a tryhard because... I'm a tryhard.
Folks think that with "bad" users, they need to police them themselves through naming, shaming, or what have you. But the thing is, they keep giving the mod team chances to put them away. It's only a matter of time. Report them and let the mod team deal with them.
