Well... Perhaps... It may not be trolling in the context of the thread per se... But in context with his history... I think the moderation is fine.  It is more of a stealth troll.  Some users can't help themselves but take little digs when they can, they just need to stay away from the topic all together...

The post is fine when you start thinking about it. Considering that a fair portion of Microsoft's owned IPs are developed by third parties I don't see what's the issue is. He wasn't implying that Microsoft's inhouse studios were poor but he made it CLEAR that some does not EXPECT a whole lot from them and that's justified given out of that first party list only about 4 or so produce something worthwhile ... 

@Bold That doesn't mean we should sanction users for what's not deserved despite their poor history ...

He was very much implying that microsofts studios were poor and he didn't say some do not expect a lot out of them, he said nobody does.  It was a dig at Microsoft, and I know enough of his history to know he has a history of doing that.  

This was a deserved moderation, and as to the bold, he can certainly post in whatever topic he wants, but if he can't stop himself from taking digs every now and then, he should avoid the topics if he wants to avoid being banned.  That is all I was saying.

Is it spam to tag a thread?

Are you just going to post tag?  Or say something about the thread.  You can tag a thread without spamming, and don't try to tag a bunch at once...

Well, it would be helpful to figure out how to

- insert pictures without a url (there are workarounds for this so it's not too troublesome)

- double quoting in one message. (quote different people at the same time)

- how to hyperlink text (make text become a url)

Simply tagging a thread is not spamming.

I always use a url for pictures, so who knows.

you can't really double quote, but you can copy another quite into your quote.  Just click to quote somebody you want to quote and copy it, then go back and quote the other person you want to quote and copy the first quite into that.

Hyper linking is easy, if you are in the text editor, just highlight the part you want to link and there is a button in the editor to hyperlink it.  Just click on it and put in the url you want to link.

Except he wasn't implying that Microsoft's Studios were poor and he wasn't trying to STRONGLY suggest it as a truth ... 

It's not a slam, just his observation ...
