Still waiting on the ps+ edition to arrive. If I like the demo I will definitely buy, I couldn't care less about the score getting lower. I often enjoy games that are rated in the 6-7.5 range.

The game is still a good racer, for sure, but let's not kid ourselves:
Many pages on GAF tells you _nothing_, "hundreds" of GAFers also tell you _nothing_. Yes, the game is good and has its fans and that is justified, but it's far away from a big exclusive which is sad considering people bought a PS4 because this was even considered as a launch game and was promised as free with cut out content.
Considering the extra time in development I think the game was a mess this time last year.

Wednesday and still no sign of driveclub ps plus edition.
Wont renew plus until $ony give us refund for false advertising.

Looking at Metacritic it seems not a single 10 was given.

Who should they listen to? The "hundreds" of GAFers praising the game or you saying the game is "incredible"? Btw, why should many miss it? If it will release whenever on PSN people can try it for free.

PS plus edition is delayed, shop are closed, don't want the digital edition, so I watched a bit on ps live. Can't really judge the graphics on my crappy connection but the game looks fun, the sense of speed is great, makes me itch to play it myself. Looks like there are a lot of events, and the best of all, less then 15 seconds from the event select menu to driving.

Seems Eurogamer was exaggerating with their 'fun police' statement. You can still slightly cut corners, go off track and hit other people without getting a speed penalty. Points are deducted, but you have to drive pretty bad to get your speed reduced for a couple of seconds. Whoever was playing did get a speed penalty when hit from behind, yet he was blocking the racing line after misjudging a corner.
Looks good to me, a game that promotes decent driving instead of ramming, blocking and cutting corners.

I have to say, the opinions I have heard from consumers who have played DC vs. the game journalists are very polarizing. The game will soon be getting weather, photomode, and additional cars/tracks, so I'm more curious to see people's opinions after that. I kinda see Driveclub as the arcade racer version of Destiny in a sense that the game gets better overtime beyond its launch.

Aww. My prediction is nearly right. I said 69 meta. Now on 72. Still about 20 or so reviews to come in to meta. I could be spot on.

So, you're saying it's sensible to wait until the game goes on sale (or buy a used copy) sometime next year when they finally finish developing it?

Can this $60 incomplete version be considered some sort of an Early Access?

If that's true, 72 is a great score for half the game...

For me it is an Insta buy, but for what it is worth their meta score of these games are not that far appart, (72 and 76 or that must be another 40 which would drop the score to sub 70). Perhaps they will review the GOTY version or if they have balls they will call it the complete version.

Please excuse my (probally) poor grammar
