So there a lot of people who don't understand what parity is and are upset. Oh well.

I mean Thief is 900p, so it has to look just as good as Ryse? And even better than The Order? Right? This is how resolution works.

I think you don't understand the situation. Ubisoft stated that both versions are in 900p "to avoid debates". This has nothing to do with using the extra resources of the PS4 to improve things other than the resolution. The way Ubisoft said it make it seems like they won't bother to use the full potential of the hardware.

Can't say I'm not disappointed but I kind of feel that it's getting blown out of proportion a little.

Intentionally gimping games so a few websites won't write about comparisons, and gamers won't discuss any differences.

We should be completely fine with that. It's totally not a bad precedent to set.

"Assassin’s Creed with also run at 30 fps because they encountered some *CPU limitations in next-gen consoles* which hampered their vision. However, based on all the footage so far the game still does look really nice."

Really Ubisoft! Really! 8 core CPU at 1.6GHZ or 1.75GHZ is not enough for you?!

Logic Ubisoft!

No, I think he and the Xbox community on this forum completely understand the situation. But because the reasoning behind what Ubisoft is doing is so mind-bogglingly asinine, they're ignoring the one thing everyone is upset about in order to change the narrative to "CPU/bottlenecks/etc" to have a chuckle at PS4 fans (under the guise that PS4 fans are getting upset over "nothing" as this is the hardware's fault, not Ubisoft playing politics), instead of examining the very clear statement of "we're making both versions the same to avoid debates"

Well, guess what Ubisoft? Plan failed. Not only are people debating about it, but Ubisoft is getting thrown under the bus as well. Textbook example of the Streisand Effect

How did they really believe this was smart. If one console is more powerful then that's just how it is... -_-

What's ironic is that when Sony was making the PS4, it consulted with 3rd party devs (including Ubisoft) to see what kind of specs they wanted. Sony listened to them and now, we're seeing Ubisoft not utilizing those luxuries despite being one of the 3rd parties that asked for those kind of specs. Nice job, Ubisoft -_-"

All this they learned mistakes from overpowered CPU & underpowered RAM! And we have Ubisoft is complaining about CPU limitation - quit making open world games, you suck Ubisoft, go back to underrated 2D games like Rayman Legends. O_O

Stabbing PS4 gamers in the back for the sake of their XboxOne fanbase.

This is the Game of Thrones

Where you either win

or you DIE

I am really curious as to whats going on behind the scenes cause is it like:

a) Ubisoft is too lazy to put extra effort into the ps4 version
b) There is some money hatting going on
c) They are mentally retarded and they truly believed that there wouldnt be a backlash

According to the other thread, Ubisoft expected both consoles to be MORE powerful than they are. It wouldn't surprise me if others felt the same way.

I'm still buying it. The storyline looks on par with Assassin's Creed 2 but better. The Wii definitely could not have handled this game very well from the looks of the new cinematics. Just wouldn't have reached the vision of where this game was going. Sick.

P.S.

Watching IGN Blow up to almost 8000 posts was insane (and funny). By midnight it should be over 10,000 (Did anyone get the DBZ reference?MWAHAHAHAAH!)
