I don't much care either way. I've never really cared about the resolution or frame rate, the game will still be great fun regardless. I just think it's odd how much some people seem to care. PS4 owners can still enjoy the game can't they?

Plus you are saying that people care about the resolution while it is not the case, it is the reasoning behind it, and when it is explained to you for the 100th time, you just speculate.

Besides like I said most games are 900p-1080 now who cares about launch? And consoles get gimped if it's not an exclusive game. Xbox was gimped, GameCube was gimped, n64 was gimped blah blah. Actually surprised ps has now become a a power focused brwnd

TBH it continues to confound me that any game on these consoles isn't in 1080p. The PS4 is definitely quite a bit stronger than the X1, but the X1 is still strong enough to handle 1080p (Based on its specs).

I'm not saying X1 would do 1080p great, but once you reach a certain quality level higher resolutions are required to see the extra details effectively. Both consoles are past that quality level.



Prediction for console Lifetime sales:

Wii:100-120 million, PS3:80-110 million, 360:70-100 million

3DS: 65m, PSV: 22m, Wii U: 18-22m, PS4: 80-120m, X1: 35-55m

I gauruntee the PS5 comes out after only 5-6 years after the launch of the PS4.

You're right it's over twice as fast in terms of bandwidth (Which is half the battle).

It's not the resolution that bothers me. It's the fact that they are clearly holding the PS4's full potential back. That's trying to take value away from PS4 by MS instead of trying to increase the value of your own console. Why try to rob PS4 owners of the more powerful console features they paid for? Ridiculous and despicable!

Listen PS4 owners got the PS4 to do the gimping, not to be gimped.



Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.

Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.
