Most Xbox one launch games outside of Forza were 720-900p. The XBone is going to be huffing and puffing for resolution. The PS4 naturally is easier to develop for and can more easily attain 1080 p than the Xbone.
The PS4 is a 1080p-900p console marked by the fact that its 50% faster in all the categories that matter in terms of specs. Machinima spoke about this last year and briefed everyone that it would lead to politics gimping PS4 versions of games.

Yes most games were at launch. But consoles aren't merited by their launch games. Besides sports games were 1080p at launch. It's not 50 percent faster in all categories. Maybe overall. Besides like I said most games are 900p-1080 now who cares about launch? And consoles get gimped if it's not an exclusive game. Xbox was gimped, GameCube was gimped, n64 was gimped blah blah. Actually surprised ps has now become a a power focused brwnd
