TBH it continues to confound me that any game on these consoles isn't in 1080p. The PS4 is definitely quite a bit stronger than the X1, but the X1 is still strong enough to handle 1080p (Based on its specs).
I'm not saying X1 would do 1080p great, but once you reach a certain quality level higher resolutions are required to see the extra details effectively. Both consoles are past that quality level.
Prediction for console Lifetime sales:
Wii:100-120 million, PS3:80-110 million, 360:70-100 million

3DS: 65m, PSV: 22m, Wii U: 18-22m, PS4: 80-120m, X1: 35-55m
I gauruntee the PS5 comes out after only 5-6 years after the launch of the PS4.
