900p looks good enough when the game has some AA.

What happened was there a parity downgrade on ps4 because of the xbone?

I really don't mind the whole 900p thing. I just feel ubisoft are really taking the piss actually announcing that they locked both versions at 900p to avoid the debates. That to me is like a company coming out and saying we could have given you a better game but well.... sorry.  They should have just kept their mouths shut. 

CPU has absolutely nothing to do with 900p v 1080p. What a stupid excuse. A CPU that bogs at 1080 will bog at 200p so long as the load otherwise is identical. That's why you can run a 2500k @ 4k with sli 970s smoothly, while a 5ghz 4790k will choke at 4k with a single 970. Gpu >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> CPU so long as it's not your bottleneck.

I really don't care. That extra bit of graphics wouldn't have made the game better. Ubi stated the CPU's aren't strong enough to have better AI, so it's still the same game.

People need to get used to this. Microsoft is only going to allow 1080p on the major games they can reach. The lesser games wont bother them. Assassins Creed is a big game so the gimp detail bound to happen. Get the PC version to steer clear of MS wrath.
