Forums - Sales - Can Xbox One Hit 200k Next Weeks Data?

No chance. Forza will sell much worse than FIFA, as is already obvious from the UK numbers. And China will offset those Asian and Russian numbers. It will be at about the same level as this week, somewhere between 140 - 160 K (after inevitable downward adjustments).

The Horizon 2 numbers in the UK will only be for one day since it didn't get released there until the the 3rd.

Almost every game releases on Friday in the UK. Same as FIFA the week before. It is time to stop using this poor excuse as a crutch to try to justify poor sales.

Xbox One is booming homies.

The Forza Horizon 2 boost will offset the Fifa drop in next weeks date. Xbox One also is launching in China in next weeks data and IOI think it did around 70k first week. Xbox One has a chance to blow past 200k in next weeks data which would put xbox one at around 730k for the month of september!

Forza can not offset Fifa.  It simply cannot.

Just saying Hoizon 2 numbers in its first week in the UK will be less impressive since it only has two days of sales.

Thats exactly his point, FIFA also only had 2 days of sales and the number werent "less impresive". In UK youre basicaly always considering the first week numbers are only 2 days.

Also wasnt China numbers suposed to be around 100k, there now 70k ? The first is good the second is kinda lame for a country with 2 billion inhabitants.

I think XOne has a fair chance of doing 200k if the China numbers turn out to be around the 100k mark, otherwise I dont see it happening. xOne found its footing tough it seen, its not doing excelent but its doing fairly well on the last couple of months, I expect great holllidays numbers incoming for both consoles.

H2 sales will be low everywhere, as good as it is it feels more like an expansion then a full game. Its to much Forza, not enough new stuff. It will not bump hardware, Maybe Forza6 can if it adds enough content but even that is unlikely.

No that's not how it works.  Every game is in that boat..... Most sales come from the first,, 2 days.  How will it be less impressive when all games have 2 days?

Less impressive compared to other regions where the game was released earlier.
