Oh, silly me. There is something called high quality and standards that seems to be a Nintendo exclusive. You should check that out.

I get those things on PC and PS4 already. I go to Wii U when I can't have that particular game in any higher quality.

I'll send to die the franchise that is already dead so the one that is alive stays that way.

True, when you want the highest quality you go to Wii U. Doesn't get better than that.

You don't think either one could possibly be a success?

Metroid, because I simply like that kind of game better. I'm not big on racing games in general, I only like a few and of those, I only liked most of them for a very limited amount of time.

F-Zero was good though for what it is, I have both the SNES and N64 game. It is however a series I could live without. Metroid on the other hand has multiple classics, each very original and unique with the potential for so much more. I'd also rather have a new Wave Race than F-Zero.

Personally, F-zero, because its something i am more likely to play. The system needs a Metroid more though.

Wii U F-Zero.

I've always liked racing games more than platformers and FPS games, to be honest.

I've never understood the fascination with Wave Race, personally. Besides the (for their time) impressive water graphics, I found them thoroughly average.

Metroid, I still have MK8 to fulfill my racing needs for now.

Current Game Machines: 3DS, Wii U, PC.

Currently Playing: X-Com(PC), Smash Bros(WiiU), Banner Saga(PC), Guild Wars 2(PC), Project X Zone(3DS), Luigis Mansion 2(3DS), DayZ(PC)

If by sucess you mean enough sales to grant a sequel F-Zero is done, Miyamoto has stated several times he don't want to make another one. If it sells 20M+ we may get a 1080p downloadable remaster split in several parts.

Metroid never sold too much to begin with, and with Wii U's small userbase plus the not so good reception of the last game combined I can see a Wii U Metroid selling less than 1M. I don't know if that's enough for Nintendo to kill Metroid, but seems possible.
