I hope this is a joke.
Zeitgeist is absolutely hilarious as long as you don't take it seriously, and you would have to be nuts to take it seriously. Leaving the ridiculous conspiracy theories to one side, they bombard the viewer with so many falsehoods that it becomes impossible to determine what little of the information is grounded in truth.
For instance, it is well known among religious historians that Jesus Christ was not born on the 25th of December and that this date was likely chosen by Romans as it was the day they celebrated the winter solstice, but Zeitgeist makes numerous ridiculous claims about similarities between different religions that go way beyond that. Not only do they claim that the Buddha was also born on the 25th December (actual date not known, though his birthday is often celebrated in May) but they also claim he was a virgin birth, something that would have come as some surprise to his father, King Suddhodana. They also give a convuluted astrological rationale for the Buddha' mother's name beginning with M, even though the figure M does not feature in any Indian alphabets.
Most of the other religious figure they mention I have no knowledge of, so when I was watching I did not know if the info was true or not, and herein lies the problem. If you don't know that the info they use to construct their theories is false, you may just end up believing them.
I wouldn't even know where to start taking apart all the government paranoia bullshit. Anyone that claims a plane did not fly into the pentagon has got to be a f'in' fruit loop.
