Depends on which PC. Zero definitely can't with his 4 year old PC but Subiya can be on par with his 2 year old 7870 with multiplats since the PS4 equivalent is around a 7870. Since it's a console it will also play the games better since developers will be programming close to the metal they will get much better results compared to comparative PC specs.

Thats where your wrong, so far my PC can play any multiplat just as good as my PS4 with bad console ports being the exception (DR3 and Watch Dogs but mods helped make watch dogs look and run even better then the PS4 version on my PC so..).


Well, judging from the specs you've given us, PS4 shits all over your rig, both GPU and RAM wise, and given your post history regading this topic, I think I'll go with numbers and facts (provided that you gave us correct info regarding your PC) rather than your own words...

Care to post pics of games that shits all over the pics i just posted? otherwise my pics is my proof and thats more then you have shown atm.

Maybe in another year or 2 the PS4 will be playing games that my old system wont be able to but for now it isnt...

I honestly don't understand how he can actually believe what he was saying. No way his PC runs games just as well especially since the 1 multiplat that he posted which is also on PS4 destroys it. It would have made more sense if he compared it to last gen consoles minus the exclusives.

I have a similar pc setup to you (built in fall 2010): Intel Core i7 930 @ 2.80ghz, HD 6870 with slight overclock, and 16gb of kingston hyperx ram and multiplats look and run slightly better on my Playstation 4. For me it's Ps4>my PC>Ps3

Games used for reference: Tomb Raider, Battlefield 4, Assassin's Creed 4

You serious? Most of what you posted isn't even close to as good as on PS4 even though they are close up to the characters faces during talks from the characters. If you wanna do that Beyond 2 Souls looks better than anything you posted when you zoom in to the faces. The only impressive one is some of the Skyrim pics because they are in small enclosed areas and I'm pretty sure I've seen 1 of those exact pics posted somewhere else. From those multiplats that are currently on PS4 which is Tomb Raider and soon to be Sleeping Dogs you can cleary see Tomb  raider destroys the 1 crappy pic you posted. Your 4 year old PC does not run multiplats as well as a PS4, that's a fact. 

Good then you can post the pics of the multiplat PS4 games that look so much better? does it hurt you in some way that a 4 year old PC can keep up with the PS4 so far?, like i said i know the PS4 is more powerful and it would want to be after launching 4 years later.. But so far nothing on my PS4 has made me say "Wow" that looks sooo much better then my PC multiplats, and if you think such games excist please post them (And i dont mean exclusive games as the really is noting to judge them against)

Anyway maybe in a year or 2 from now the will be multi plats that play much better on the PS4 then on my old PC but for now the is nothing. and in another year or 2 all id have to do is spend like 200-250 and once again thats my old PC destorying the PS4 when it comes to graphics..

No one is really doubting that a PC of the spec you suggested could get pictures of those games working... but that would be about it, unplayable juddering pictures unless you sacrifice some of the effects or resolution you'd find on the X1/Ps4 versions of the games.

Thankfully you understand. The games he posted don't even make sense to compare to multiplats on PS4. Makes as much sense to compare Beyond 2 Souls to any of the close up shots to the characters faces he posted. 

 

Yes a very shallow liner game that doesnt even run in 720P looks better then the stuff i posted -_- .

My 3 year old PC still smokes the PS4. Core i5 2500k @ 4.5GHz and 2 x 560ti Hawks in SLI. It manages 60 fps with most games while looking better than the new consoles. Still pretty happy with it apart from the fact that it draws like 500watts from the wall. I need a new PSU though as my trusty Corsair is starting to play up after almost 5 years.

So you want me to take time out of my life just to record videos of Farcry 3 running on my PC then upload it somewhere?? clearly the video would look like shit and even if i showed the settings before hand i bet ye would still try saying i edited them or something -_- ..

And im not here to prove any point does anywhere in my op say that im out to prove that my old PC can play games looking better then the PS4?? no other people are coming in here trying to make the PS4 look real good when really the is nothing on the PS4 atm that blows away anything that my PC can do and if you think the is please post the pics and videos to prove it as for me i've noting to prove..
