Ummmmm Nobody expected 1mil+ sales in 2 days, its by far the highest sold 1st party game in that time not named pokemon for over 16 years. There were threads and many expected 600--700k. it was not intill the very end people started thinking higher due to the reports from japanese stores.

SSB only at 70k pre orders? With an estimate of my gamestop having around 200 pre orders for XY last year (on last day) vs 50 pre orders of SSB 3DS with 2weeks before release? C'mon :p
