First of all I want to say I don't disprove fanboyism in general, I simply find it facinating, how the console someone owns can influence their statements so much that they're no longer objective. The defending of a game which you like I can relate to, but why does anyone bother their time by simply bashing a game and spoiling someone's anticipation for a game they won't own. This form of fanboyism I don't specificaclly like, neither do I understand the need to bash another game to defend your own game.

The most recent event of extreme bashing on both sides, was the conflict between Forza Horizon 2 and Driveclub, where I can understand comments like Horizon 2 will've more content and is overall probaly a better game. I couldn't understand comments like Driveclub is an incomplete game which looks like shit and the gameplay looks like shit. What drives people to make such comments and more relevant've you made let's call them extreme fanboy comments and if so what was your motivation.

You don't have to replicate your comment of course just if you made such comments, why was it just for trolling or was there a more deeper motivation, in which you were simply pissed of that you can't play the game, because you didn't own the designated platform.

I have a better idea, Let's not talk about fanboyism!

Being a fanboy is fun. Especially if you try them all out :)

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

I've been one on this site and outside of it. Consoles, series, clothing type... you name it.

But I don't like being one, to be honest. I'm trying to veer away from that kind of behavior. But there's so many discussions I can't help being involved.

Off course I did it. I liked it but mods didnt. So I changed.

Probably once or twice during my SEGA days. But does that even count? Being devoted to SEGA is not even really fanboyism, it's only logical.

Not sure if trolling or actually being serious, if being serious why did you post a reaction and let the topic live instead of letting it die. Like people do with games they don't like

Only to stir people up, some take it way too seriously.

I don't mind a person that likes a specific console, but I truly hate people that want other companies to fail.

Another thing that annoys me is Halo haters, "MAN FUCK HALO, OVERRATED SHIIT!!1 *continues playing COD series*"

Fanboys Monsters are hard to deal with. They are not to be mistaken for trolls even if both hang out together most of the time. They use a weapon that looks like an Objectivity Sword lvl 99 but in reality it's only an Opinion Wand lvl 0.1. It's still a great weapon though, because it can cast a charm spell and those who are not equiped with a Common Sense Armor might fall in a spiral of confusion.

They usualy deal a lot of damage and can rally confused people rather easily, especialy since Common Sense Armor are rare items and quite difficult to wear. Once confused, people will transform into Fanboys, similar to zombies, and behave the same way and immediately equip themselves with Opinion Wand lvl 0.1 and their only objective will be to confuse more and more people.

If you don't want to engage in battle with them you are not required to because for some reason Fanboys Monsters seem to wage war amongst themselves for no apparent reason.

If members of your party are confused you can cure them but the process takes time. You will need to equipe yourself with a lot of Elixir of Reason. The higher the level the better. Their skin is really thick and a lot of elixirs needs to be used. Once they are not confused anymore it is highly suggested to have them wear a Common Sense Armor as soon as possible.

t is said they can assemble and form an unstoppable being.
