But at the same time killing me sorta screwed you over. Looking at roles; I'd say it surely would have been better to just scan as many people as possible.

Well the first night Imp said there might be another mafia team. I really thought Khan was mafia. That night, we figured the other mafia would have a way to recruit you too, so we wanted to rush it, at least until we found the serial killer. I mean think about it, if we spend a night scanning the SK, that's one less night we can control them. If you'd poisoned the first night, we wouldn't have tried for Wonk, and have gone for spurge instead, and probably would have found you by process of elimination. Ironically, it was spurge's lying that led to me doing the process of elimination wrong. That and a big assumption on my part that Clyde wasn't the Master Hand because he said "I have a day power, but I haven't used it yet," and Master Hand of course had. So we almost found you without needing Imp's role scans. Once we'd found you, we were going to use Imp as a role cop exclusively. I personally don't think it was a mistake to do it this way. It wasn't our not using the rolecop ability that led to your death, it was spurge's lying and my misinterpretation of Clyde's statement. And really it was just spurge's fault. If he hadn't lied about Smeags, we'd have just let town lynch him without our help, and scanned you, since you seemed slightly less town than Clyde. Also, if you had poisoned Night one instead of saving it, we'd never have wasted a scan on Wonk, and we'd have found you even sooner. Figures you didn't even know we were looking for you, yet Master Hand gets a notification that someone is after him. Prof, you're a bastard. But yes, killing you screwed us over somewhat, Cone. This would've been much easier if we'd found you. Honestly though, I'm glad with how it turned out. We won without your help. You were last place, Smeags was first, and we were second. I'm content with that.
