Forums - Sales - 20th September Week (PS4 passes 11m on VGC)

PS4 and Xb one both dropped more than I expected. I totally called it that Wii U wouldn't drop much and be in the mid 40s. Some people expecting it to drop into the 30s, just don't know how to read markets.

A lull week before Fifa 15 could explain the larger drop for ps4 and Xb one. People in Europe at least waitin' for that game to drop.

I'd say it was already off by 100k even after gamescom adjustment and has been undertracked by 200k so maybe 11.3

definitely not 12M lol.

Yeah because vgc doing a million + adjustment never happens....

I've been here since 07 and just to let you know it happens every year with at least one console.

THe picture in the OP is wrong. And can we please stop saying overtracked/undertracked every week. Its what makes these threads annoying in my honest opinion. ioi did adjust PS4 up to 9.9m right after that announcement if im correct. If its still off by a 100k or something then ok. You can say the same for XBO/WiiU. THese are not 100% numbers but they will be relatively close to them.  It at least gives you a good idea of what is going on.

There is a coming battle in the US, the One still has a fair chance in this region with the right moves from MS! Exciting! Globally is a different matter though...
PS3 above Wii U again, but the difference is small enough to be dismissed.
Looking forward to the holidays; always the sweetest time of the year on vgchartz!

dont think so

first all, i am talking close to 12 million by now (30th of sept). and according to VGC, PS4 has sold 1.2 million since the 10th, so theoratically, it should be at 11.2 million by now, add to that another 200k for the upcoming 10 days and you are at 11.4 million. im claiming its another 300~ undertracked. guess we will see when sony announce their numbers, but just remember, every time sony announced a sell through number VGC was undertracking it.

that half a million is counted in the 11m figure

so if we talk about 12m already that week has to be 1m or more ;)
