Forums - Nintendo - My Hyrule Warriors Review

Short and simple :---)

clever controls, i recommend using the zelda styyle, light attack b, heavy y, special x, dodge a. When you press the lock on button, you dont have to hold it in, but press L another time to release the lock on.

I really enjoyed all the variety in this game, and yes, there is a lot. 13+6 dlc characters, all with different weapons, combos, stats, levels, and play style. My mains are Link, currently at level 63 impa, lana and agigtha.

I was surprised to see how much play time adventure mode offered, I have owned this game for a week, I live in europe, and have played it every day for a week :--) the story is cute, and the characters all have their unique personalities which shine through.

Collecting items, new weapons, weapon upgrades, and getting perfect scores is very addictive and fun.

The only con i can think of, i downloaded this game on e-shop instead of buying a retail version ;----(

there you have it, after one week of play-time, and not some rushed bullshit review, I am happy to inform yall this game exceded my expectations.

Final score 9.1/10. When dlc is complete, 9.3 out of 10 ;--D

get excited, its great!

in how much time you ended the main story?

I know... my English sucks.

Ok, my rushed review bullshit after playing only a couple of days. I am enjoying it. I've never really played a warriors game other than a few minutes of dynasty warrior 8 and it's as good as I'd hoped it would be. I played with warrior controls and have no issue with them.

I found HW quite accessible and tend to play it in very lengthy bursts. So far I'd give it somewhere between a 7/10 and an 8/10 leaning towards 7.
Fun arcade dumbness with a mediocre but tolerable plot that still delighted me every time a classic Zelda character was reviled.

This is one of the times I find myself agreeing with the majority of reviews. Not a great game but a nice addition to my Wii U library that I'll get plenty of playtime out of. It seems to have a lot of content and good replay value.

I have been waiting for something good to play on my Wii U. I got a feeling this is it.

Ask stefl1504 for a sig, even if you don't need one.

2 days i believe.. However, i only fully understood the game and its depth after about 4-5 days :---) the more you play, the better it gets.

i have downloaded the dlc of course, cant wait for the 3 free dlc characters as well

Yes, im in europe owned the game for 6 days :---).   Played the entire thing on the gamepad while listening to podcasts ;-D

Co-op is sure to be a lot of fun but remember, the game has a lot of depth, you mest get into the weapon upgrade system, character leveling, and different badges and abilities each weapon even has three classes ;-p meaning three different swords. The hylian sword has a stronger alternate you nlock n adventure model red and golden sword, with red and brown shield

I think this is one of the more properly reviewed games in general even though it got hit on both ends of the spectrum with "...but Zelda" for better or worse but they ultimately balanced out with the really silly highs cancelling the really stupid lows. The game is exactly what it was advertised to be: Zelda nostalgia, play as a bunch of popular characters from Zelda, and Dynasty Warriors.

I wish more games were marketted for what they actually were...

3 hyrule warriors, 9.3/10 + dlc.

4. Tropical freeze, 8.8/10. Too short to be elevated higher

5. Wonderful 101. 8.4/10

6. Mario 3d world. 8/10

7. New super mario bros. 6.1/10

8. Rayman Legends. 6/10.

Have you attacked a bunch of chickens yet like we saw in the new eshop accessible Video?

Unintentionally.. I lose every mission when they turn against me.. Dat golden chicken is the devil incarnate! Not a good idea, refrain from the fury of the chickens is my advice

Man looks good. Picking it up as soon as Gamestop opens!
