So guys, I just purchased the original on the PS2. Is it creepier or scarier than Silent Hill? Resident Evil?

SH - no
RE - yes
Hyped!
Oh wait, that's the wrong FF. Oops
...what a terrible joke.

Looks good. Never played one of these before but I'll buy this one if it makes it stateside.

Really depends on which Silent Hills. SH1&2 are superior but the more recent renditions are pretty terrible for anything more than jump-scares, terrible ability to set an atmosphere. Shattered Memories has been the only worthwhile one in a while.
I think the falling apart of Silent Hill is really what made Amnesia that much more of a hit because it went back to what made SH1&2 so much better than their later released breathren. Amnesia knew how to set the tone, set the mood, and get you to piss your pants because a piano started playing in a room you just crept through.

We don't need to campaign. The game will be localized, or it will not be localized. No grass-roots fan campaign is going to sway Nintendo.
I'm not worried about Fatal Frame V. Tweeting and stuff certainly doesn't hurt so by all means get the word out, but I see no reason to doubt the game will come.

So much more, there is no comparission. it is P.T. scary. It is scream and heart beating faster scary. It is "no more for tonite" scary. It is the quintessential horror game.
