I'm glad Samus isn't in Mario Kart Wii, If Samus were to ever be in a racing game it should be "Metroid Kart" or "F-Zero Wii" as a cameo. Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong are in MKWii because they stem from Donkey Kong.
Pixel Art can be fun.
As much as i love samus and think that would be funny having her in MK, it wouldn't make sense to have her in it, maybe in the future they could make Nintendo Kart..?

Maybe, but I never played an F-Zero, so I don't know how beneficial that would be.
Because she'd spin dash through everyone. It would be like her having unlimited Bullet Bills.
