Also, This thread has been resurrected what? 25 times so far? It's easily the most resurrected thread ever posted. It's really a testament to how it's both utterly believable and yet utterly unbelievable at the same time. 

I mean sure, it's called MARIO kart, but what about all those other characters and cameo appearances, as pointed out in the original post, like ROB and Diddy Kong and Pacman?

I mean, if you're going to have ROB, there's no reason not to have Game&Watch, and if you had pacman, why not toss in Samus just simply as a cameo?

Of course, if Samus is in there, and Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong are in, that basically sets the tone as more than just Mario & others, but Mario & Kong & Metroid, and since we've gone that far, lets throw in Zelda & Pokemon & Star Fox & ... well you get the idea... 

Her ship can be in the game as an unlockable, but she can't be a charcter because it's the Mario world. I'd rather see her hanging out watching the race in a bikini myself. I'm all for that.

I think it's because he's too busy being a kidnapper.  What happened to all the Koopa kids anyway?  Who was the last one to see them alive?  Mario, that's who.  Dun dun dun...
