if polygon gave it an 85 its meta will be 80 at best.

End of 2009 Predictions (Set, January 1st 2009)

Wii- 72 million   3rd Year Peak, better slate of releases

360- 37 million   Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak

PS3- 29 million  Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut

less than 84%

polygon gave 70

meta is 85 right now

You have to applaud Microsoft for letting the game be reviewed a week ahead of launch. I'm hoping Shadows of Mordor will be un-embargoed soon

Anyway, fairly predictable scores, Forza games always seem to end up 80s-90s. It's also good to see them developing the franchise sensibly, giving a bit of variety and keeping the brand name strong

Not good enough to dig out my 360 or buy an Xbox One, but I did play the demo of the first game and liked it...

I just downloaded the demo, i havent played it yet, but Ive seen some video reviews and i think i might bite on this one. looks like fun and it will be a nice to break up all the FPS games Ive been playing lately.

i think 85 meta would be fair from what ive seen. i will try the demo tonight after work.

Good review scores. It's scoring higher then the main franchise. I wonder if it will sell more?

Unfortunately 90+ on metacritic seems highly unlikely on the other hand so seems 85-. The bar is set for the crew, because 85 is the score to beat for this type of racer. Project cars is a completely different type of racing game and it's nearest contender would be Forza 5.

I think Driveclub is due to the lack of content out of this race since reviews will be quite diverse, I guess it will score a lot 90+ (visuals and handling are superb according to many previews)
but also lot's of (sub)70 reviews (Lack of content, being a track racer)
On average Driveclub will hit 80 (max 82) metacritic.

In this respect forza horizon did what it had to do now let's hope it will sell some Xbox ones, because however I don't want microsoft to win the console race. I still want a battle between Sony and Microsoft.

Please excuse my (probally) poor grammar

Due to the history of the series that scenario seems highly unlikely but I see 3 million happening. Considering the first entry sold around 1.75 million units (retail). The main serie sells around 4-6 million units per entry.

I just read the Eurogamer review, quite useless for what I wanted to know. All there is about the map is this:

The new setting - the southeastern corner of France and northwestern corner of Italy - isn't quite as grandiose or as varied as the first game's Colorado.

Kinda disappointed, my main problem with the first game was the small map and little variation. Seems the map and gameplay variety (for single player at least) are a common negative in other reviews. bah.

Anyway it should be fun to play when I get around to buying an XBox One. Or maybe I'll just get the 360 version, give that thing one more game to give it a warm sendoff :)
