Now that xbox is going to have Minecraft's next game and Rise of the tomb raider as console exclusives, what is next? I think Microsoft is going to go after a splinter cell game next judging by history. Thoughts?

The premise of your question is faulty because we don't know that Minecraft is exclusive and we also know Rise of the Tomb Raider is a timed exclusive. When you say what the will go for next, do you mean real exclusive, timed or something else altogether?

Microsoft bought Minecraft, the next  game will be console exclusive. Tomb Raider will be console exclusive on xbox one, just like dead rising 3, ryse and titan fall. Talking about console exclusives here.

Considering they paid 2.5 billion for minecraft i dont understand why they dont just buy cod, square etc and just have them all.

I'm sure they could buy call of duty for 10 billion right?

The premise of your answer is faulty, we also don't 'know' that Tomb Raider is timed exclusive yet either - not until they announce it for another platform
