I honestly don't mind. One Game, 4 expansions per game, then a sequel two years after. As long as there's good content, I'll buy. I friggen love this game and I feel it's got so much potential.

My big question is, would a Destiny 2 somehow carry over the character and continue or would it just be starting from square one.

hopefully. Raise the (soft and hard) level cap 10, add a new subclass or new powers to existing ones, and of course new planets or sections on existing ones.
