There's a new live action trailer... it seems strange !! but at least it looks big budget

I really don't understand why expectations aren't higher. Everything they've shown of the game looks super fun, and Insomniac are no slouch of a developer. 85-90 is their average range for most of their games on meta. I don't see why this won't fall in there too.

I expect it will sell reasonably well (2-4 million, 1 million first week), but be a critical flop and leave fans divided. The visual style is striking (and it looks to sell well on that alone), but the gameplay that I've seen looks like it will bore players quickly and it certainly doesn't cover any new critical ground.

Basically, I think Sunset Overdrive is a mainstream take on Lollipop Chainsaw. Except it will be too safe and won't have any of the charm or flavor of a delightful Suda 51 clusterfuck. Metacritic of 75.
