I think the Japanese ones were nearly two times better, so this is kinda "meh" even with the humour. But the idea of people transforming into the characters is awesome though!

The EU ones will be best.

Not bad. Nintendo is getting better at this. They should have made one targeted at college students, though. Huge part of the Smash playerbase, and the theme of the commercials would fit pretty well, I think.

They're not bad. The girl in the first one reminds me of that Ken Sugimori interview where he talked about designing the female protagonist of Black & White -- she got those Hilda shorts, complete with torn/white spots where the "pockets" are.

Only if you have a brilliant marketing campaing, like that time they bought a Wii and the Wii would like to play campaing.

With this commercials? Never.

"settle it in Smash" is a good tag line. They should have some adult celebs in a commercial with the same theme to take it to the next level.
