Is there something about PS consoles that make it's so easy for VGC to undertrack (they seem to do it for so many PS related things). Like, are the tracking methods different for the two consoles and their software?

PS consoles sell a lot more than others in places that are harder to track

Yes, like Germany and France and practically everything but the US and UK and maybe a handful of smaller countries...up until this gen.

There is... PS consoles/games sells more where VGC have ZERO base data.

I agree, pretty pointless the software data on this site now.
Its only good for hardware data weekly so we can see who "won"
But for actual numbers - even hardware data is off
