Bayo2...just proves that Nintendo can't make adult games because no one will buy them except the very few who do. Sad numbers for a great game.

Hard to say looking at japanese numbers alone. Bayo 1 was a flop over there aswell, but with all the attention Ninty threw at this, I would expect better.

the sad thing about all of this is that we probably wont see another bayo sequel.

Hmm, I personally wouldn't worry about sequels at the moment. Go and enjoy Bayo 2 first! :)

yeah its easy to say that when almost every single franchise i care about are dead bcuz of of the same situation.

oh well lets enjoy the last real DMC.

”The environment where PlayStation wins is best for this industry” (Jack Tretton, 2009)

Like other said, Nintendo didn`t build an audience for that kind of game.
Some might work based in their name (like MH or DQ) but others will fail.

HW is doing better because of it`s names.

Nintendo should have - assuming they could - tried to bring exclusives RPGs and other titles that japanese gamers like, before coming with smaller names or new franchises.

Guys, bayo 2 tracked for a single day....

Bayo 1 wasnt such a flop on PS3 and 360.

360 was even less sold than Wii U is, still, the game sold 64k FW, that shows how the audience is different

Predictions for end of 2014 HW sales:

 PS4: 17m   XB1: 10m    WiiU: 10m   Vita: 10m

But i disagree with the people saying Nintendo is not doing anything to be seen as capable of holding mature games.

This IS the "thing". This is their first investment in showning that are M-Rated games on the Wii U. Devil's Third will also reinforce this. It is going to be a uphill battle no doubt and those games are going to sell poorly. Is there a better way of showning they can have this games, than actually having them?

Of course, TV time around The Walking Dead, would help a lot.

Don't most games sell through 50% of their stock the first day though? :/

As it looks now, Devil's Third is going to drive people off the WiiU

Could be worse.
