Definitely. The X1 was boosted big for a single week from multiple factors, so it would take a LOT of Destiny boost to help it exceed that beyond a week. And for a Sony sponsored game, global domination, and exclusive bundle/content, I just don't see that happening. The 'free game' promotion will help, but I think people will be really disappointed to see the total results.

Don't get me wrong, the US numbers should be significant, but the ROW will contract massively compared to this week. So anything from 120-145k sounds right to me.

All of it is sort of academic though, the gap is going to explode throughout this month. Even if China posts 100k FW, from there it will drop to like 18k, 12k, 8k, 6k, etc into oblivion. And none of that will be enough to keep pace.

Well, Titanfall provided a hefty boost, the One sould 144k that week worldwide. Titanfall was console exclusive but the One is now available in almost all regions and has actual promotions and we already know that Destiny sold hilarious amounts week one and we can factor that the PS3/360 took only a fraction of those sales, leaving a fair chunk for the One even if the PS4 sold the most units.
150k should be possible, I wouldn't be surprised if it went over that either.

We should be at least slightly optimistic here though. The 'Same' is still way way waaaaaaaay better than the darkest days of summer for the X1. 50kish weekly totals globally was just insanely horrible for a product with the billions invested in it like that.

Indeed, i'm not even sure they increased the baseline by more than 5k, first madden gave a good boost, then second launch, then Destiny, then Fifa, and then big months.

We will only know if the baseline increased from 50k with Halo and tier 2 contries in february

If it doesn't then X1 is done for the holidays. If the biggest game of the year can't move consoles then no exclusive or other multiplat can.
